History of the Company
At Miller, we’ve served growers for more than a century, and we’ve not only kept up with the changes you’ve faced over the years, we’ve worked hard to anticipate them. We started small in 1899, and we were an early dealer of McCormick-Deering equipment (we were the first to sell a horseless tractor in Wisconsin, too).
Early on, experience taught us that in order to be a true partner to the professional farmer, we’d need to remain committed to a single, simple, powerful principle: We must be driven by your productivity, your profitability.
So it was only natural that, in the 1980’s, we would evolve from our roots in distribution and begin manufacturing the products we knew you needed. We honed our manufacturing skills and began building a lasting legacy of quality when we began producing the Miller Pro line of equipment, from forage boxes and rotary rakes to trailer sprayers.
It wasn’t long before our reputation and expertise grew into new areas – by the late 1990’s, we’d established Miller Application Technologies. Our first product line was the Nitro family of self-propelled front-boom sprayers. The Miller course was firmly set.
The newest members of our product lineup, the all-new Nitro 6000 Series and the Condor GC Series mechanical drive sprayers, are perfect examples of what Miller is today and will be going forward. The Condor with Spray-Air air boom technology joins a comprehensive line of spray application equipment, a field where we're an innovative leader in technology.
In 2014, after 115 years in business, Miller is proud to join CNH Industrial and becoming a part of New Holland, a brand rich in history and innovation dating back to its founding in 1895.
